I would host it, but i only have 256k up.. slow as hell. Other than that good luck guys. As for openbox scripts, were in the process of making a repository, and once i become more proficiant in php i am [hoping] to make a submit theme type deal... we will see.
That repository is here: http://denstark.homelinux.org/openbox.php _________________ Blog

What do you think about creating a *box link thread or web page that links all *box theme sites, including the community (ours). That way there would be one place that would link everyone together, one place to find links to themes, but we (individuals) would be responsible to maintain our own web sites, therefore nobody would have to be responsible for one single website, and there would be more than one person committed to this idea (except for the maintainer who would be in charge of maintaining the links).
Just an unorganized idea I had. So what do you think ? |

Well the idea behind the site was for gentoo users to be able to upload there custom styles, scripts, howtos etc to a central location for everyone to have easy access too plus I know not everyone runs a server and besides we could just have a links page for that |

Well, if anyone sticks together a decent collection and ensures that the styles are appropriately licenced, I could roll another package like fluxbox-styles-fluxmod... |

Yeah that would be nice once we get this thing going how fluxmod puts out a new pkg every once in a while we could do the same and just think its contributing back to the community |

ok, what plone would do for us. Of course this is plain jane right know and I have _no_ gimp skills as you will soon see Im sure someone could come up with a cool logo..
users can change upload add content and what not.. If anyone is fimliar with workflow it has a few things that must happen to the upload doc or whatever to be "published" and allow to be viewed by everyone. It has that light weight look to it alot like a lot of the *box wm's.
Click around break stuff most likely will redo the plone site anyways..
**edit dead links**
Its a gamma theme a cudos would be given to the creater if this is what we decide to do.. and the creator wanted to put them on the site of course..
I only tossed about ten minutes into this (converted another site to this) but let me know, either way I am up for helping out..sounds fun
Note the page is not ready to go so I do not want to keep the port open for to long so If ya get a dead link pm me or whatnot and i will open it up for a little while longer. I will keep it up for about an hour or so.
splatbox.org would be a good domian name i think, that is what my first linux teacher called * _________________ write quit bang

All of my styles are BSD-licensed. I can put together a master tarball of the themes I've made if anybody wants them included in the openbox-themes-extra (or whatever you call it) collection:
- Foxfire
- Dark Eternal
- Preternatural
- Infrared
- Biomechanical
- Energistic
- Visible Spectrum
- Snow Falcon
- and the Lila themes for Openbox
Give the word and I'll clean 'em up and package 'em. |

Why not "starbox.org" instead, of it's not taken? "Splat" does sound kind of ugly. |

They both look great to me I actually like the look of init-zeros better with the lighter color but coins looks great as well guess we could all decide which one is best, as for a name...stormy said a good name for a fork of openbox should be pandora heh I know this isn't a fork but I still think pandorasbox would be a cool name |

Anyways, a third theme submission for whatever theme site finally gets chosen is available on my site -- abs opus os -- and yes, it is yet another port of b0se's Opus OS theme. Beginning to think I should steal an idea from TCM and name them all "Modern Theme Classics" or some such ... what other classic themes get ported frequently among WMs?
PS. How about box.dk |
