Hallo
Früher hab ich mplayer selber kompiliert (also ohne portage) und bei meiner neuen Installation habe ich mplayer mit portage installiert. Wenn ich mplayer .vo help bei der alten Installation mache, dann bekomme ich folgedes in der Liste:

fbdev Framebuffer Device
fbdev2 Framebuffer Device

Bei der neuen Installation bekomme ich beide fbdev nicht und die möchte ich gerne haben, denn wenn ich mir nen Film anschauen will, dann starte ich keinen X Server sondern gucke direkt am Framebuffer auf vc2. Gibt es eine USE Variable, die das ermöglicht, oder muss ich die ebuils ändern?

fbcon ist das was du suchst...vllt gehts auch mit directfb, hab ich noch nicht ausprobiert

Das war das richtige, hab wohl nicht genug doku gelesen  hab in den ebuils nachgeschaut.
