Plans for {iptables + WOLK kernel} package.

Are there any plans for Gentoo Portage to distribute a package for the iptables-v1.27-WOLK. This compliments the current wolk distribution within Gentoo Portage (wolk-sources-3.8) with respect to the requirement for iptables moding.

I have manually downloaded iptables-v1.27-WOLK and would love to see this as a package - Say , "carpaski" - aka Nicholas Jones - what do you think??

BTW , I'm a full-time employee of British Aerospace so don't have much time for 'development' of Gentoo, however I am currently working on an ebuild for this in the event that carpaski is in the same position Please tell me if someone is already working on this so that I don't reinvent the wheel guys !!

You might want to file an "informational" bug report (that you'll follow up to). Searching first, to make sure there isn't already a report. Mention that you are going to do the ebuild, but wanted to be certain noone else was. Once you have the ebuild, submit it to the same bug report.

Most likely developers aren't going to come across this thread (they're developing, not trawling the forums).
