Hi
I'm trying to find out how to open mpeg, avi's, from websites, the way windows media player does.
I've installed mplayer and mplayerplug-in which is working well. I found that when the noembed=1 parameter is set the movie is played in a seperate window, that's more or less the way i want it. But i rather would like that mplayer is opened is its full glory.
I hope i'm clear enough
Cheers

You mean you want gmplayer to open in it's full glory? mplayer is a command line tool.
You can probably do this by removing mplayerplug-in and then specifying that .avi .mpg etc files are always opened with /usr/bin/gmplayer |
