hallo ich hab ein problem mit kde bei meinem gentoo.
bei der installation wird die grafikkarte bei meinem laptop erkannt, aber ich kann sie net ins system einbinde, besser gesagt beim kde kann ich nicht die ganze fläche des bildschirms benutzen(dislplay ist 1024-768) kann aber nur 640-480 benutzen. habe eine s3 prosavage 8 KM266/KL266 im laptop. beim knoppix 3.3 -3.6 funktioniert das display aber einwandfrei , kann also die ganze fläche(1024-768) mit der maus erreichen, was bei gentoo kde net möglich ist.

Hi,
ich glaube ja nicht, das das ein Problem von der KDE ist.
Hast Du dir schon mal Deine X Einstellungen angeschaut.
Vielleicht stehen die ja noch im Wald.
Die Dateien mussten unter /etc/X11/*.conf zu finden sein.
