Nvidia Problem with emerge -u world

Updating my system, getting a problem with the nvidia drivers:

Building modules, stage 2.
make -rR -f /usr/src/linux-2.6.3-gentoo-r1/scripts/Makefile.modpost
scripts/modpost vmlinux drivers/net/dummy.o drivers/net/eepro100.o drivers/pcmcia/i82365.o drivers/net/wireless/orinoco_cs.o drivers/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o
nvidia.ko failed to build!
make[1]: *** [module] Error 1
make: *** [module] Error 2

!!! ERROR: media-video/nvidia-kernel-1.0.5336-r4 failed.

Do I need to manually install this or what is going on?

i have this SAME god damn problem .. did u fix it? is there a fix? I just wanna finish updating my system .. im currently checkin the forums but im not getting any good answers

i think it might be the version ... all the errors i read so far, are with this version; but i dont know anything about the subject :oops:

Nope, still haven't figured it out. I've been pretty busy so I just haven't had the time to look into it too much. Please update here if you get it figured out.
