hi all,
i found my KDE start very slow when there is no internet connection(the router is still here just the ADSL modem disconnected). the firefox startup is also slow in this condition. any reason for this and prevent it? (although, most of the time, i have internet connection. but want to know the reason)
any help?
thanks,

I have seen this too. I believe one reason could be that your hostname is not properly defined in /etc/hosts. Also check your domainname and make sure you resolve to correctly. |
