Hi Everyone,

I am working with a laptop monitor running at native resolution (1680x1050), and an nVidia GeForce4 4200 Go card. When I switch to lower resolutions in X (Ctrl/Alt/+), the size of the desktop does not change. So I can scan over the virtual desktop by moving the mouse to the edge of the display. Is there a way to cause the size of the desktop to scale with the resolution of my display? Or if not, how do I manually change the size of the virtual desktop myself?

Thanks,
Darren

I try to use nvtv for tv-out with nvidia graphic cards, but as i change from LCD to tv with nvtv and try to play a movie with xine it gets a "virtual screen" which i can't use for the movie..

hm.. don't tell me i should use twinview or two screen's cause there is no overscan support for now.

So may someone have a working script or something to play movies with xine or mplayer but fullscreen (overscan) on the Tv.
