howto find the /dev/xxx for a cd drive (SOLVED)

i dont find my cd drive in the /dev/xxx list but if i scan for it with cdrecord --scanbus my cddrive is there. its a laptop it you need this information. THX!!

have you tried /dev/cdroms/cdrom0?

i was thinking that /dev/cdrom is not my cddrive because it doesent loaded the music cd. but now i know that the music cd is pc protected
