I have dnsmasq installed and in my resolv file i have just the loopback and dnsmasq appears to work the problem is when I get onto my windows machines nslookup fails and doesn't use that machine as a dns server it says.

Code:

C:\>nslookup www.google.com
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.1.2: No response from server
Server: ns6.attbi.com
Address: 63.240.76.4

and procceds with the next server in the list. I want it to use my server instead of my cable modems server(main cuz they can't keep dns that well) so whats the deal?
