Boot problem

Hi all,

When I was emerging qt, the system hang. There was no response even I just pass cap lock or num lock on keyboard... so I think it is hanged and reboot the machine. But then, when the reboot go to runlevel 3 and bringing up the eth0 via DHCP, it hangs again....

After serveral trial, it is still hanged... How to fix it?

what is the last message on the screen or better in the log?
did you fsck the disk? maybe a file is corrupted.
