Hi,
I have a directory (/usr/games) with permisions 750, and owned by group 'games'. I am a member of this group but cannot get access to this directory...
I have pasted some info, in case I'm missing something obvious here:

Does anyboy see what I'm missing here? If I change ownership of the games directory to root:users, I get access with no problems.

| Have you logged out and back into your system since adding the group games? The change in group will not take effect until you do. You can use the newgrp command to temporarily make the group change take effect in a bash shell, see man newgrp. |
