hey i bought the electronic distrubution of doom3. there is a guy who gives me iso's and then i buy the serial its pretty nice cuz its like 10 bucks for media AND ITS LEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!. i bought tthe normal version and a serial for it. now my question is... can i install it on linux. before burning it to media or decompressing it (which is like 5 gigs). so either i sell you guys a copy or can i install that on linux? |

um.. if they are in .iso form you can do this
Code: | mount -t iso9660 disk<#> /<path to .iso> /<path where you want to mount> |
btw.. that doesn't sound very legal to me buddy... SHAME SHAME SHAME DON'T F@#$ WITH ID OR SNAKE WILL !@#$ WITH YOU!! jk. But seriously, think about it, thier like one out of 2 companies that release games for linux and you pirate it?!?, wait no, you pay someone 10 dollers for a pirated copy??!? You know there is a "multiplayer mod" out there that does nothing but takes you're cd key and sends it to a server for pirates to take...
edit (not quite sure if the disk<#> is needed its just a name for the mount so you would unmount it with umount disk<#> play around with the command. |
