Hi Jens,
This is an easy one, just send me your dual P4 3.0GHz/NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT laptop and I'll send you back my Athlon XP 2100+/NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti4200 PC. That should take care of your speed problems.

if i had the hardware you are talking about it could run at quadro-speed ...
that wasn't a joke that it's running too fast ...
it's like someone has set the game speed to 200% or higher |

What do you mean the game is running "too fast"? I know from experiance that in UT2k3 you run and move a lot faster (seemingly) than in other games but nothing grotesquely outrageous.
Maybe describing your problem a little better will help us out. _________________ { NO -U } { STRIP }

I've noticed FPS getting faster over the years. I've put it down to getting old. |

Is your problem similar to this bug in Americas Army? I'm not sure if UT2003 suffers from the same problem or not. |

And here is the same problem for UT2004 but it has been fixed. Are you running the latest patch for UT2003? This issue might not have been backported to UT2003 yet. |

it seems that this is the problem ... i'm running speedfreq with dynamic profile as default
i'll test ut 2004 without and with the patch and tell you later if it works
