I was just wondering if any of you guys know a solution to my problem (duh...). I emerged xfce4 and everything is working just fine except for xffm, which is somewhat annoying. When I try to run xffm in the terminal -- in order to look at the output -- I get something along the lines of: I/O warning: failed to load external entity "/home/devin/.config/xfce4/xffm/xffmrc.xml". Out of curiosity, I checked to see if that file even existed, and not to my suprise, it didn't; should this raise me any concern?
Next in the message that is outputted when I type "xffm" in the terminal is essentially: libxfcegui4 constructed without libdbh... aborting (etc).
I already checked to see if dbh was in fact installed, and it is (or so emerge told me when I did a "emerge --pretend dbh"), and it was also the latest version. Now I have heard about dbh causing a problem with 4.2beta_1 (4.1.90), but that "seemed" to have been resolved in the ebuild already that depended on dbh -- the reason why it's installed now. Could it be that the name of the library file is different than what xffm is trying to invoke?
Any advice, help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had the same problem Code: | emerge --oneshot dbh libxfcegui4 | This baby solved the problem for me, even though i already had dbh installed before i installed libxfcegui4 _________________ Det var mig der omsmeltede guldhornene |
