|
|
Hi!
If I wanted to buy a notebook, one of the essential things to work would be its TV-Out. When it comes to Desktop PCs there usually is no problem with Nvidia cards in terms of TV-Out, but as with laptops I'm totally clueless.
So, could everybody who got his notebook's tv-out to work, briefly describe which
(a) notebook
(b) graphic chip
and (c) configuration
he is using?
Thanks

Hi,
i'm owner of a Toshiba P10 Notebook. TV-OUT works simply with Fn+F5 (doesn't depend on driver).
Additionaly you are able to tune the TV-OUT (Tv-Standards, PAL/NTSC etc.) with help of the driver. Simply write your options in your X Config file (refer to NVIDIA Readme).
The graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5600. |

So, as it stands, no problems with GeForce 4/5 and an ATI (9000) mobile.
Any other comments (maybe even to cards that don't actually work)? |
