Hi everyone,
I've got a real problem with my sound card, it is unknown !!
In fact, a driver ( and even 2 ! ) seems to exist but I don't know how to get it work :

The card is apparently called 'Azalia' and was added to ALSA in version 1.0.6. If you can't find it listed in a recent 2.6 kernel then try using the alsa-driver package. I have now sound !
Thanks a lot.
As you said the driver is azalia. It took me 3 hours to get it work but I can play UT 2004 with sound !!
My motherbord is a P5GD2-deluxe based on a i915P chispet.
All is working almost perfect now. Do you think I should post a tuto discribing how to get all those things work ( I mean where to find the working drivers ) because it took me some time to gather them ? |

i got a ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe with i think the same soundcard... Does you get good sound or crappy ? Please tell me m8 cause i have got evrything to work except for the sound and thats very important for me! _________________ Gentoo 2005.0
