Ignore Feature Request

I figured that since that thread was locked it makes it difficult to chime in and request that feature without starting a new topic. So here I am.

As with any large gathering of people jerkbags will appear. I go out of my way to avoid them in daily life and it would be nice to do so on this forum. For some reason the ones that really irk me are also the ones that post repeatedly in threads I like but that's just my luck. :roll:

This is a feature in other forums. A great feature. Regardless if it's a "mod" or something built into the phpBB software I think it's a requirement. Other forums with as much traffic, and more have implemented it just fine.

an ignore feature wouldn't be too bad. though if someone is bad enough to ignore they should probably be banned anywho

i dont like to ignore people, no matter how stupid/annoying/etc they might be, its just good to know what other people are talking about when referring to them, and, they can be entertaining.

I think an ignore feature could be usefull. Since there always people who like to start flamewars or having nothing better to say except stupid comments.
