Hi,
my eth0 won't work.
I've got a Sony PCG-F403 (http://www.vaio-link.com/specifications/specifications.asp?m=91) and the DockingStation (Port-Replicator).
There is just network at the docking-station.
Booting from LiveCD, it detects the eth0 correctly - everything's fine.
But after installing, eth0 doesn't work.
I'm doing a stage1-installation, but i don't know the correct network-driver.
lsmod: "kaweth (seems to be network), serial, sbp2, ohci1394, usb-storage, hid, uhci, usbcore [kaweth usb-storage hid uhci]"
Now i've emerged hotplug (which - i think - is needed for recognizing the port-replicator) and gentoo-dev-sources.
I haven't compiled my kernel yet, cause i don't know which network-driver i should take.
Can anybody help [sorry for bad english] |
