Hi,
I was running Gnome 2.6.0 and gdesklets 0.26.2 until tonight.
After I finished merging Gnome 2.8.0-r1 and updated the config files, I rebooten my machine.
Once logged in, I got a lot of errors with gdesklets.
Basically, most of the PSI displays that need a sensor don't work anymore.
Remergening the gdesklets and the core doesn't help.
I get errors like this:
Code: | Traceback (most recent call last):

etc...
Any idea what's causing this error. It's hard to believe that it's due to Gnome 2.8.0 :s
I looked at gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org, linuxquestions.org and here of course, but no solution...
So, if someone know how to fix it *hint*
I guess it will help a lot of other people as well. |

I'm glad to read another mate strugglin' with gdesklets after gnome's upgrade ... i was gettin' mad trying to solve my problems
After that upgrade i had to install again gdesklets core [0.30 from bugzilla] and some displays are ok ... the only one that seems died it's network sensors ... nothing to do ... a sad eth0->none and 0kb/s [but my eth0 is up and up/downloading]
i add a screenshot ... http://snu.altervista.org/Schermata.png _________________ Ma che c'hai là? Sulla spalla!!!! http://lascimmia.it/ |
