I am embarrassed to admit that although I have used linux for the past couple years, I have never really understood how to navigate the console. But the more I use it the more I like it. Who needs X any way (just kidding) I finally figured out how to scroll up and down on the page.
How do I access files that have spaces in them? I have two windows partitions and many of the file names have spaces in between words ie "Program Files"
Help!

Here are two ways: preface the space with a backslash, or enclose the entire file name in quotes. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

try using tabs. It's annoying to type so many slashes...for example
cd pro<tab>
it should auto complete if not, type out more of the name.[/code] _________________ In God We Trust, All Others We monitor. |

Even better, tap tab twice, and bash will list all filenames/commands that match what you have typed so far. |
