been trying to run wshaper (have all the necesarry modules)..
but it always hangs my system after a few seconds..

I'm trying to run it on an allready booted system.. not at ini..

then I realized.. maybe I must bring down net.eth0? so I did.. and now it doesn't hang..

is this what caused the problem? and how do I add this script to ini? so it's initialized before eth0 etc?

Hmm, that sounds weird. I havent used wondershaper on Gentoo, but have been using it with my Debian server for years. Never had that kinda problems. I can always stop and start wshaper without restarting network interface just fine...

strange indeed.. but now it seems to work.. which I'm very glad for ;) but how do I add this script to init?

and do you know if theres a gentoo how-to on creating own run levels? since I would like to create a failsafe runlevel :)
