Black screen after boot

I get black screen after boot , booting starts and i can see progress , but when it finish ,black screen appear . (i see ,,Login:" before)

When i press [ESC] during booting Xfree and kdm starts .

I have 2.6.8-gentoo-r10

my problems caused nvidial-kernel or nvidia-glx
unmask latest version solved black screen
