Fluxbox slit takes forever to load

Whenever I start fluxbox, the slit takes at least 7 seconds before it starts up, where before it was almost instantaneous. The order is like this... about half a second, I'll see the mouse pointer, after about a another second I'll get rox and my background, and then the long wait for the slit.

I also noticed that now if I change something in my menu it takes an abnormally long time to update the menu configuration.

These problems just started today.

The only relevant thing I can remember doing today was changing my styles and themes around.

If I move my .fluxbox directory, the problems are fixed.

I really don't know where to look other than ~/.fluxbox/log which has no problems.

I don't want to waste space posting configurations and logs since I have no idea where to begin, so if you have any idea what may be causing it, let me know and I'll post the appropriate info.
