I'm running Gentoo on my new Acer TM 3201 Xmi and I have problems with ACPI. The problem is that it cannot see my battery at all! It seems like I'm always on AC even when I'm not! :(
I'm running Gentoo-dev 2.6.8-r10 kernel, but I've even tried with an MM-2.6.9-r1 kernel with no success!

Reading the forum I've found that some other Acer laptops have problems in using batteries with ACPI because of a sort of "smart battery" which it's not supported by Linux ACPI implementation yet.
Can anyone confirm that my Acer have this kind of battery too?!!?
