I was trying to update my system when I got a bunch of blocked packages. Fortunately, someone else had the same problem (why isn't this corrected automatically???) and got an answer, so I started unmerging all the blocking packages. Then I got a bunch of warnings about illegal inheritance. Can someone tell me what they mean and what I should do about them?
