Sto installando gentoo e avrei bisogno di fluxbox, dopo l'emerge se da shell faccio mi restituisce giustamente errore > Can't not connect to X Server make sure you started X before you start Fluxbox.
bene giustamente avvio X con startx e rifaccio > fluxbox ... ma altro errore | Code: | Error > Couldn't find screens to manage
Make sure you don't have another windows manager running
(another windows manager already running on display:0,0) |
Ora xterm sara il display grafico sul display:0;0 ma come faccio a mettere fluxbox ?
Devo modificare il /etc/rc.conf ?

devi semplicemente crare il file nella tua home
e inserirci dentro
una volta fatto ciò tramite
partirà fluxbox...

Dunque premetto che ho emerso correttamente fluxbox e non dava nessun errore.
Utilizzando nano ho ceao il file .xinitrc nella mia home, e dentro ho scritto fluxbox.
Esco da xterm...dalla shell lancio startx ma si riavvia xterm e non fluxbox... 
Dove sbaglio ?
Forse devo settare i parametri per il window manager in /etc/rc.conf o non lo devo toccare ?

exec /usr/bin/fluxbox
io ho così e va tutto

Ok ho risolto...dentro il file .xinitrc bisogna scrivere comunque lascio questo link penso sia di aiuto...
