Not sure where to stick this question so I'll start here. I'm trying to get ACPI setup on a thinkpad t30 running a 2.4 kernel. I've compiled the standard ACPI stuff into the kernel and am now trying to emerge app-laptop/ibm-acpi-0.4 (the latest stable release per portage). Unforunately I get:
Code: |
root@intrepid ~ # emerge ibm-acpi
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-laptop/ibm-acpi-0.4 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) ibm-acpi-0.4.tar.gz
>>> Unpacking source...

I don't know what the errors mean (no rule to make target module?) or what to do about it. For what its worth I get the same error message if I try to compile the source downloaded as a tarball.
TIA for some help.
