|
|
Hi!
I've just emerged fvwm 2.5.12 and fvwm-themes. What I've noticed is that after clicking "close" button, fvwm waits for about a second before actually closing the windows. This is somehow distrbing for me, since fluxbox, gnome and kde do the same job instantainiously. So is this normal behaviour or is there a setting in .fvwm2rc which could fix this?

Hi!
Same version (without fvwm-themes), similar behavior. When I maximize a window, or when I open a transient, I can see the decorations first (titlebar, borders), then the inner part of the window (translation: I see the wallpaper when the windows is being built on the screen).
Pretty annoying...
I blamed my video board (pretty old, just 16Mb), but neither KDE nor WindowMaker show the same odd behavior.
