I'm trying to emerge industri, but compilation always fails with a ton of error messages in the fashion of:
Code: | /usr/include/GL/glext.h:5761: error: previous declaration of `PFNGLFLUSHVERTEXARRAYRANGEAPPLEPROC'
../glquake.h:1135: error: conflicting types for `PFNGLVERTEXARRAYRANGEAPPLEPROC'
/usr/include/GL/glext.h:5760: error: previous declaration of `PFNGLVERTEXARRAYRANGEAPPLEPROC'
make[1]: *** [releasei386.glibc/glquake/cl_input.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/industri-1.01/work/industri_BIN/linux'
make: *** [build_release] Error 2
!!! ERROR: games-fps/industri-1.01 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 36, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

There are hundreds of lines similar to the first two ones before that. It says in the README that those kind of lines are normal, but it should compile anyways. Unfortunately for me it doesn't. Compiling 'by hand' ie not using emerge gives the same result. Can someone help me? |

IIRC the way i got this to compile was to go:
opengl-update xorg-x11
emerge industri
then opengl-update nvidia after it is finished.
Hope this helps |

I did opengl-update xorg-x11 before trying to emerge industri, since i recalled that tenebrae needed it. Oh well, fortunately this isn't a vital package for me... |

Still no answer to this one?
I tried switching opengl as suggested and no luck
Does anyone have this working on Gentoo with an NVIDIA gfx card? _________________ Hamish ThePolarBear |

You tried compiling it with media-libs/mesa ?
Read me in their CVS wrote: |
* Make sure you have the following installed;
libpng-dev
*Mesa* Mesa-dev*
