nessun tipo di problema. Magari emerge genkernel e usalo per installare il kernel.
basta che, dopo averlo emerse, lo lanci così | Code: | | genkernel all --menuconfig |
e così potrai scegliere le voci che più ti piacciono del kernel e poi lasciar fare a lui il lavoro di compilare e installare in /boot il nuovo kernel. Ovviamente ricordati di aggiornare grub o lilo.

Io Sono Appena Passato ai Nitro 2.6.9 e non ho avuto nessun problema...
Volevo provare bootsplash sul 2.6.9 nitro... ho dato il comando 'bootsplash_path'
la configurazione dovrebbe essere giusta solo che il bootsplash non va'... ho usato vesa-fb
Dovrei Passare a gensplash ???

Io sono ora su un 2.6.9-mm1 e non va la rotellina del mouse sotto X 
forse è un casino di X ma xorg.conf è lo stesso di una configurazione funzionante. |

Se ti trovi bene con il kernel che hai e per caso il tuo hardware è tutto supportato dal kernel che hai e a meno di problemi di sicurezza in pratica :

Sono passato anche io al gentoo-dev-sources 2.6.9 r1, per ora non ho problemi, o meglio ho gli stessi problemi del 2.6.8-r10.
Sbaglio o è leggermente più veloce, di pochissimo? |
