Hi; I have just finished following this guide, http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_Xorg_X11_and_Transparency#X.org_6.8_and_transparency:_a_simple_guide and that has all set up and runs fine apart for one problem. With this isntalled the tabs in programs like File Edit View etc. in firefox do not show, but i can click and they respond, i just cant see what I am clicking on. It seems to be a little intermitant on when it happens, if a window is already open with I run it does not seem to be a problem, but if i open a window after running it the problem is there. Has anyone come across this before?
Should I file a bug report about this or am I doing something wrong??? |

Remember this code is all pre-alpha stuff so it will break some apps.
It will get better as more developers (eg FF) add native support in their code. |

ok. So how long has the xcompmgr command been about? I am guessing I will see a few updates to it over the next month or so will I?
Also I have noticed if i minimise the page it is not showing on properly and then maxamising it again it is fine |
