|
|
I recently tried purchasing a Logitech MX700 mouse in my city and was told at several of the stores that this model was discontinued. I don't know if the meant they were not carrying them in favor of the MX1000 or this was from Logitech.
One store offered to sell me the demo model of the MX700 which I purchased. Unfortunetaly it did't have the power adapter. (Didn't realize until I got home!) I can't find the specs for the power supply online at Logitech in the manual.
Can someone with one of these models look at their power supply adapter and see if it has the voltage and polarity written on it? Usually DC adapters list this information on the block part of plug.

I have a Cordless Desktop MX, which should use the same base unit, but double check this before you try another adapter.
The power adapter shows 5.8V, 1A, tip (center of the plug) positive. Hope that helps you out.
Oddly enough, the receiver base shows 5.8V 1A, but not the tip polarity. I would assume that the polarity is the same on both, but check the power rating on the bottom of your receiver/charger to be sure. |

Thanks, that's what I needed.
Working perfect with a universal adapter now. ![Smile :-)](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
