selecting framebuffer bootlogo/background

is it possible to change this picture after compiling, or is there previews somewhere, perhaps on the web, so I won't regret my choice?

yes u can change the pic, in fact if you can be bothered, you can pretty much put what u like in there.
All done with mkinitrd and grub and stuff. Big thread here on how to set up from cold, if you already have it working with wrong pic, then you can jump in half way through the tutorial.
