Can't type Control+] in a VT

Like the topic says, I can't type control+] in a VT.
As I'm using a Belgium keyboard, you have to use the alt gr key to press the ]-key.
And for instance in vim, I can't browse through the help as the shortcut for it is control and ].
It works just fine in a terminal, but not in a vt.
Can anyone help ?
