This is a weird problem! Maybe someone can help?
When I startx as a regular user. I get this error.
Code: |
Cannot move log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" to "/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old"
|
To fix that problem above. I just moved it manually.
Now I am getting this error
Code: |
Fatal server error:
Cannot open log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.log"
Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support
|
The weird thing is x will run as root.
Any ideas? _________________ I think Gentoo is great! |

I think I found what the problem was. I was switching back and forth btw 6.7 and 6.8 xorg. I upgrade back to 6.8 and my problems went away. _________________ I think Gentoo is great! |
