First off, I love multimontor setups. I like being able to work on a web page in one monitor, play some music in another, and looking up something with the third monitor.

What I want to do is get opengl apps to work on all my monitors.

The information I found is outdated and does not apply to xorg. I found some information that claims that mesa needs to be installed (http://www.pvv.org/~kim/Monitors6.html). Again, this applies to xfree86. I also understand that glx only works with one monitor (primary).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Are there any links that I am overlooking that might be helpfull?

My Stuff:
A7N8X Deluxe
nVida 5600 (nVidia manufactured, not for production use)
3dfx Voodoo 5500 64 meg PCI card (one or two capaciters fell off, it still works but stability is in question and it will soon to replaced by a 64 meg ATI 7000 Radeon).

I'll be happy to post my xorg.conf file if anyone would like.

-Bump-

Update: The 3dfx has been replaced by an ATI Radeon 7000.

Does anyone have any experience with Mesa? Do I even need mesa? The emerge mesa warning looks intimidating.
