How do i mount a partition so that my GNOME FILEBROWSER can view it its like mount /dev/hdb1 /home/hansoffate/mount -o uid=000? can someone correct me?
Right now i try to mount /dev/hdb1 /home/hansoffate/mount and i get it mounted there. But if i try to acces it , it says i am not root. How do i gain access to it? |

Yes i su and passworded otherwise i woudln't have been able to mount. I have it mounted just when i use "browse filesystem" app to browse to the directory i get this error "You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of "mount"." Any ideas? I had it workign but i didn't write down what was the specific thing. Somone told me to add -o uid=000 somethign like that.
btw this is an ntfs partition and i have played movies off of it. And ihddi compile support into my kernel. |
