Hi,
I've the following Problem: When I change the power supply from battery to ac (or the other way around) the status in /proc/acpi/ doesn't change.
The bad thing is that if you boot with ac plugged in and battery out then pluggin battery and unplug ac you get no information of the status of the battery. This will cause a system crash if the battery runs empty.
I googled and searched in the forum, but I did not find a solution. I'v compiled ac and battery static into the kernel.
Thanx for your help!

I have this laptop and I'm using kernel 2.6.9-mm1. Pluggin in the ac_adapter and unplugging it causes /proc/acpi/ac_adapter/ADP0/state to change but will not produce an acpi event. |
