NEC pcmcia usb card problems

Hi,
I am having some problems with my nec usb pccard. when i insert the card it seems to be working fine, however, when ever i plug a usb device into one of the ports i get a "fatal error". here is my sys log...

ok. so i enabled ohci and uhci support in addtion to the ehci support that was already enabled and....
