how do I configure xmule?

Sorry, this is probably a complete newbie question but what do I have to do enable xmule? I have emerged it and I imagine there is a file somewhere that I have to modify. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Their isn't any file you have to edit. Just start it up and all the options/configurations are done through the GUI.
