|
|
After installing gentoo on my ibook, I wanted to install MacOSX on the space that was left. After booting the installtion disk, it was unable to find any partition. I could have used the disk utility but then it would have removed all my partition, which is not what I want.
So I gave mac-fdisk an other try, I tryed to delete /dev/hda5 which was Free space, and create a new partition of the type Apple_HFS. But everytime I do that I get: requested base and length is not within an existing free partition. If I look again at my table hda5 is still there.
I'm unable to copy paste since I also have some keyboard problems, but here's my input, if you're a bit familair with fdisk it should make sence.

thanks, if I entered the size in blocks and the first block in blocks it works fine, is this a bug ?
Also backspace doesn't work in mac-fdisk, is this normal ? _________________ Turns out the pony only had one trick. |
