Hi,

little confused about where the correct place to define directories (I'm not using virtual hosts) accessible only by ssl.

relative to /etc/apache2/conf/

a) apache2.conf
b) commonapache2.conf
c) ssl/ssl.conf (create?)
d) modules.d/40_mod_ssl.conf
e) somewhere else?

Also, why do the names of config files in /etc/apache2/conf/modules.d/ start with numbers? Should 40_mod_ssl.conf be mod_ssl.conf?

thx,
Wally[/i]

They should go in /etc/apache2/conf/commonapache2.conf
