|
|
Hello.
I'm doing my first Gentoo install from stage 2 and everything was going great. I was just about to install the kernel when my daughter hit the power button on my surge protector. Now when I boot up I can't emerge the kernel, it says command not found. I know I'm probably overlooking something really simple.
Thanks in advance |

what was being done when she powered off the computer ?
and when you rebooted did you follow this procedure to re-chroot in your system ?
Code: |
# mount /dev/hda3 /mnt/gentoo
# mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/gentoo/boot
# mount -t proc none /mnt/gentoo/proc
# chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash
# env-update
# source /etc/profile
