Is anyone subscribed to this list? I've been for the past month and I thought I was supposed to receive "daily cvs changelog updates", which must mean what is being changed in the portage tree etc. The webpage for the daily changelog IS updated daily (or at least fairly frequently) but I've never received an email from gentoo-cvs. I tried subscribing again with the same address and I received a reply saying that I was already subscribed. I have received emails from gentoo-announce. Is this list actually being maintained/updated? I really didn't want to bug all the subscribers with a "hey is this working" message, so here I am. I thought the list would be a lower-bandwith method of checking for updates than constantly "emerge rsync ; emerge -pu world". |

work is being done on the mailing list, see "Miscellaneous Yummy News" on http://www.gentoo.org
"... which included a move to a new mailing list manager (apologies for the bumpy ride, searchable mailing list archives will be online soon) ..." |

Sounds great! Thanks. I'd given up on checking www.gentoo.org lately since it wouldn't always come up. |
