Hallo!
ich habe mir heute eclipse vorkompiliert heruntergeladen (eclipse-SDK-3.0.1-linux-gtk.zip). da ich noch nie vorkompilierte pakete installiert habe, und keine anleitung zum installieren vorkompilierter pakete finden kann ist meine frage:
wie bekomme ich eclipse installiert / zum laufen

| Wieso nicht eclipse-sdk aus portage benutzen? (3.0.1 ist installiert und funktioniert recht gut mit sun-jdk 1.4.2_06 auch aus portage zusammen) |

werde mir das noch mal überlegen.
aber wie wäre es jetzt wenn ich es doch vorkompiliert installieren möchte? |

Vielleicht steht im Changelog (cvs) mehr.
@lugri: am besten ein eigenes ebuild erstellen. Anleitung dazu gibt es auf gentoo.org (gentoo.de auch). |

Gut, soweit habe ich jetzt gar nicht mehr geschaut. Ich hatte seit der 2er Version immer die sdk-bin installiert und wo ich gerade geschaut habe war sie halt einfach verschwunden  .
