I just installed gentoo and KDE along with running xorgconfig
However, When I type startx I get a long error, here is some of it
(EE) Unable to locate/open config file
Fatal Server Error:
Cannot run in frambuffer mode. Please specify busID's for all frambuffer devices.
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server "(:00)" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 remaining.
Any idea on how to solve this so i can get into kde? |

It sounds like something is configured wrong in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. I would try to run xorgcfg instead. It will automatically generate the file for you without any input, which to me is great. Usually, for my self, I have to force quit out of it by pressing the <CTL><ALT><BACKSPACE> keys together, but I have never had any problems doing that. Do a man on xorgcfg for more information.
