Hi. I just recompiled the kernel to support high memory because i have 1GB of ram. So i rebooted and i get this message now.
Loading GentooEBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps LILO second stage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i cant get back into my system |

Actually, come to think about it, if you have exactly 1GB of ram you should not have enabled High Memory support (do you have it set at 4GB).
You will not get any benefit in fact the reverse will be true since you will start to use bounce buffers and the like. There are quite a few threads around on this issue.
