Problem with Samsung Spinpoint 160 GB

Hi,

I have a very strange problem. I have too Samsung Spinpoint hdd´s . Both have 160 GB. Since I upgraded too a kernel above 2.6.6 one hdd isn´t working any more. If I try to mount it there is an error that the superblock can´t be read. If I do mkfs.xfs then there are read/write errors. When I use fdisk under a new kernel the disk is working but it is downgraded to 30 GB. :evil:

The other equal disk is working perfect. One is attached to a Promise Controller.
Is this an kernel bug ? all old kernels under 2.6.6 are working fine with both hdd´s.
Any idea´s ?
