Gdesklets doesn't work on Gnome 2.8 ?

I try gdesklet 3.0

but i run "gdesklets shell"

then it had a forced quit~~

after that I try gdesklets 2.6 in portage

But I can't open any .display file and no error provided~~~

help~~

how did u get v .30 into portage? did u make the ebuild yoruself?

are you using pygtk 2.4? I had to drop down to 2.2 to get gdesklets working on my gnome 2.8.
